Bridge for Africa

Bridge for Africa is a non-profit company serving a network of African bridge clubs and players which aims to:

1. Get more people playing bridge by providing Internet facilities to bring players and bridge clubs together
2. Enhance and simplify bridge club administration by providing integrated, low cost use of BriAn scoring and Pianola club management software
3. Improve bridge skills through providing access to online teaching resources and bridge tips in E-mails sent to players
4. Organise interclub competitions
5. Assist bridge tourists to find friendly African bridge clubs and more
6. Recognise the achievements of unsung African bridge administrators and players

Bridge for Africa was founded by a group of seasoned bridge administrators and IT / Internet professionals who have travelled extensively across Africa.

The Hermanus Pairs will take place on 20th March starting at 18h30 and on 21st March starting at 09h30.

The 2026 Darling Pairs is scheduled for 6th June 2026.

There are tentative plans for 2026 Bidding Box and Bedford tournaments.
